Fracture mechanics is a specialised service available from MIS Testing where experienced staff produce precision machined test specimens to a client’s requirements, fatigue pre-crack using bespoke equipment and software and carry out testing in line with national, international or end user specifications. Crack tip opening displacement (CTOD), K1C and J-critical testing are available at ambient and sub-ambient temperatures.
