Consett

Consett was the original home of MIS and this site has seen continuous development since its inception in 1983. It houses the Head Office function and the main base for the Environmental Group as well as a fully equipped materials testing laboratory with machining, mechanical testing, fracture mechanics, Chemistry and metallography, including failure investigation.
